Senior Software Engineer Reliability Assessment (f/m/div)

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/div) to lead the development and extension of our assessment software tool(s) used to evaluate data from stress tests conducted in our reliability labs. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in collecting requirements from our reliability engineering team and turning them into reality through software development, database integration, and user interface design. In your new role you will:

• Collect requirements from the reliability engineering team into software (e.g. linking to existing database(s), developing user interface)
• Drive the development and extension of assessment software tool(s) used by reliability experts to evaluate data from stress tests conducted in the reliability labs
• Support the automation & digitalization activities in the department and implement data-based assessment workflows
• Work together as a team player in a highly-skilled and highly-motivated developer team

You are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation, you clarify areas of responsibility, coordinate your work with colleagues, and regularly share your insights with them. You are personally committed to the customer’s concerns, award them a high priority and focus your efforts on finding solutions that offer added value for both sides. Furthermore, you have a clear notion of how innovation contributes to the commercial success of the company.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A completed degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field
• At least 3 years of experience developing software (both front- & backend) in languages such as C/C++, Python and SQL
• Solid knowledge of statistics and mathematical models
• At least 3 years of experience in understanding complex requirements from customers and translating them into software
• Preferably experience working in agile mode, either as contributor or leader of other developers
• Excellent proficiency in English and German
