What You’ll Do 

 

  • Lead Backend Development: Design and implement high-performance backend features using .NET (C++/C#) with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability. 

  • Drive Code Quality: Champion software engineering best practices, actively reduce technical debt, and ensure the codebase remains clean, robust, and future-proof. 

  • Architect Database Solutions: Design, develop, and optimize relational database solutions to support efficient and resilient data management. 

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams — including Device Software, Webshops, QA, and DevOps — to deliver high-quality software on time. 

  • Ensure Seamless Integration: Take ownership of end-to-end delivery, from design and development through integration and operation of interfacing components. 

 

What You Bring 

 

  • Multiple years of professional experience with .NET Framework / .NET Core (C# and C++) 

  • Solid expertise in MSSQL and relational database design 

  • Hands-on experience with GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira 

  • Strong command of software engineering best practices: SOLID principles, design patterns, and modular architecture 

  • Structured analytical thinking for solving complex system challenges 

  • Clear technical communication skills and a collaborative working style 

  • Fluent written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus 

  • A quality-driven mindset with a willingness to embrace feedback and keep growing

We offer a competitive salary based on your qualifications and professional experience. The minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement is EUR 2,535.00 gross per month on a full-time basis. Of course, your actual salary will be adjusted in line with the market based on your qualifications.
