Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) Application Development

Your responsibilities:

• Software development and programming for control systems in the power generation sector

• Commissioning and testing of software in applications and systems

• Maintenance and upkeep of application software

• Assisting the sales support team

• Preparation of job-related documents such as technical manuals and specifications

• HMI development

Your profile:

• Good experience in software development and programming, preferably in graphical programming

• A degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering or a comparable field

• Alternatively: a state-certified technician specialising in electrical engineering/automation

• Knowledge of common programming languages (including IEC 61131-based languages, Python and C)

• Knowledge of interface protocols such as CAN and Ethernet is an advantage

• A high degree of independence, personal responsibility and reliability

• Excellent German and English communication skills
