Senior Software Engineer (f/m/div)

Infineon Technologies is the strongest semiconductor company in Romania with a R&D center in Bucharest for 20 years and growing R&D sites in Iași and Brașov. You will be part of a newly formed software development team in Iasi, which will have full software lifecycle ownership for in-house IT products and applications, which are integral parts of Infineon’s advanced R&D flows, processes and planning framework. Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take the lead in driving Infineon’s digitalization journey, focusing on portfolio management and road-mapping solutions.

In your new role you will:

• Design, build and run web applications & platforms that drive Infineon’s digitalization journey for product portfolio and roadmap management
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, business analysts, UX experts and BIZ stakeholders to design and build systems that is efficient, effective, and scalable
• Work in cross-functional Scrum teams and follow DevOps practices & methods
• Explore emerging trends and technologies in software development

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• University degree in computer science, informatics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, including architectural design and system integration
• Proficiency in modern web development frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js, ASP.NET Core) as well as TS/JS, HTML, and CSS
• Expertise in object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Java, C#) and deep understanding of relational and non-relational data base technologies (e.g. MSSQL and S3/CEPH)
• Experience with cloud technologies, containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Experience with agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, test automation)
• Fluent English language skills
