Senior Software Developer (VOIS)

Role purpose:

Candidate will be working as a Senior SW Developer; this role required the candidate to work withing the Web application team Handing Back-End & Front-End development and enhance the portal KPIs and maintain the portal’s SEO. He should communicate with business to decide the approach that will be used for new requirements, and this will require hands-on with (Java, Spring, Hibernate, React, JavaScript, Bootstrap and JQuery) along with SQL.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Full Stack Developer responsible for all Frontend/backend development activities.
• Analysis, Coding, Unit Testing, Regression Testing, Implementation of the new requirements.
• APIs integration and implementation as per customer requirements.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time and compliant with the company specifications.
• Real time bug fix support during acceptance and end-to-end testing.
• He will also translate technical solutions into non-technical language that co-workers will understand

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

• Experience of working on projects that span multi-disciplinary areas of differing size and complexity to meet business expectations and deliver results.
• Working in International, distributed teams
• confident and able to liaise and influence at all levels within Vodafone and/or relevant customer organizations Configuration Automation
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills with demonstrable experience of the production of plans to describe stage, phase, dependency and milestones.

Technical / professional qualifications:

• 4-7 Overall years of experience
• Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP and API design for extensibility and portability.
• Experience in noSQL databases is a plus (e.g. MongoDB).
• Experience dealing with Pipelines (Jenkins or GoCD).
• Ability to use version control software such as GIT, Nexus and SVN.
• Past experience of working in Agile/DevOps cross functional teams
• Strong communication skills.
• Working knowledge of JIRA would be preferred
• Good/Nice to be aware of Container management like Dockers.
• Should be able to understand Network topology and network design model.
