We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect in Hino to lead the combined Digital Scrum teams as Product Owner. This role is essential to expand the team's responsibility to the broader Digital Enterprise portfolio and to provide the senior software architecture leadership currently needed within the Japan engineering organization. Strong expertise in software architecture, cloud technologies, and digital platforms is required to guide the Digital Scrum team and drive the successful execution of strategic digital initiatives.

Job Summary

GE HealthCare Japan is seeking a Senior Software Architect to play a leading role in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions for our healthcare products and services. In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge technologies to help deliver innovative healthcare solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Based on SAFe operation, lead the scrum team for Digital Feature on Ultrasound device as Product Owner role.
  • Lead the architecture design, development, and review of software systems.
  • Design and implement scalable and robust solutions utilizing API development, web services, cloud technologies, and edge computing.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Oversee software project management across multiple projects and define technical roadmaps.
  • Define database strategies and ensure efficient and secure data management.
  • Apply deep knowledge of network protocols to design secure and high-performance communication infrastructures.
  • Evaluate emerging technology trends and strategically adopt new technologies to enhance product competitiveness.
  • Foster collaboration among team members including offshore and support the resolution of technical challenges.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise and extensive hands-on experience in computer programming and software development.
  • Practical experience with API development, web services, and cloud technologies (such as AWS, Azure, and GCP).
  • Knowledge of and experience with edge computing technologies.
  • Proven experience in software project management.
  • Expertise in the design and implementation of database solutions, including both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP/S).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
