Senior Site Account Manager

Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Site Account Manager to lead and manage all aspects of client relationships and operational execution at key FLSmidth project sites. This role focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction, optimizing project performance, and identifying new business opportunities within assigned accounts.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Serve as the primary point of contact for designated FLSmidth clients at project sites, fostering strong, long-term relationships built on trust and effective communication.
* Oversee and coordinate all FLSmidth activities on-site, including project execution, service delivery, and operational support, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and quality standards.
* Proactively identify and address client needs and concerns, escalating issues to relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring timely resolution.
* Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, providing regular updates and reports to both the client and FLSmidth management.
* Lead and mentor on-site teams, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including upgrades, expansions, and service contracts, within existing client accounts.
* Collaborate closely with FLSmidth sales, engineering, and service teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer support.
* Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to maintain strong relationships and understand operational challenges.
* Prepare and present proposals, reports, and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with all FLSmidth policies, procedures, and safety regulations on site.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in account management, project management, or a similar client-facing role within the heavy machinery, mining, cement, or industrial sectors.
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex client relationships and large-scale industrial projects.
* Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, from initiation to closure.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a challenging site environment.
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to travel frequently to client sites, potentially internationally.
* Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages relevant to FLSmidth's global operations is a plus.
