At FlyAkeed, we leverage technology to transform corporate travel management. Our Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring seamless travel booking, fulfillment, and customer satisfaction by managing reservations, travel requests, and operational processes through our proprietary platform.


We’re looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead agile delivery across one or more of our software product squads. You’ll be the driving force behind how our teams plan, build, and ship — coaching them toward high performance, removing what slows them down, and partnering closely with Product and Engineering leadership. Beyond serving your own teams, you’ll help shape and elevate agile practices across the wider organization and mentor more junior agile talent.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and
• retrospectives) for one or more product/engineering squads, keeping them focused and outcome driven.
• Act as a servant-leader and coach, building genuinely self-organizing, high-performing teams.
• Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments and dependencies — escalating cross-team blockers before they become bottlenecks.
• Partner with Product Owners to keep backlogs healthy, well-prioritized, and ready for delivery.
• Protect the team from scope creep and distraction while maintaining a sustainable delivery pace.
• Follow and protect the defined Agile playbook, ensuring teams apply agreed ways of working consistently.
• Track and communicate delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, predictability) and use them to drive continuous improvement.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on agile values, Scrum, and Kanban, raising the maturity of agile practice across the company.
• Manage risks and stakeholder expectations, providing clear, honest visibility into progress and blockers.
• Mentor the junior Scrum Master and support the broader agile community of practice at Akeed.
• Contribute to scaling agile ways of working as the organization and number of teams grow.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in agile delivery as a Scrum Master serving software/product engineering teams.
• A proven track record of coaching teams to measurable improvements in delivery and quality.
• Deep, practical understanding of Scrum and Kanban, and comfort adapting frameworks to context rather than applying them by the book.
• Strong facilitation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working closely with Product Owners and engineering leads in a modern software environment (CI/CD, cloud, cross-functional teams).
• Confidence coaching and influencing without direct authority, at both team and leadership level.
• Fluent English.
  

Certifications

Required: A recognized Scrum Master certification — Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I).

Preferred: Advanced/professional-level certification (A-CSM, PSM II). Coaching certifications

(ICP-ACC) are a plus.
