Job Summary:

Analyze and report in vitro and in vivo biotransformation studies with a focus on analytical method development, metabolite profiling, and data interpretation. Collaborate with scientific teams to deliver high quality study results, support analytical investigations, and ensure timely project execution.
 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform in vitro and in vivo metabolite identification studies and support study execution from planning through reporting
  • Prepare and analyze samples, process data, and troubleshoot analytical challenges to ensure data quality
  • Develop and implement analytical methods for the analysis of drug metabolites under appropriate regulatory compliance standards
  • Conduct metabolic profiling and acquire MS/MS data for metabolite structure elucidation and pathway assessment
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret study results and prepare protocols, technical reports, and supporting documentation
  • Support laboratory instrument maintenance, calibration, fault tracing, and performance evaluation
  • Develop laboratory procedures and Standard Practices (SPs) with guidance from senior laboratory staff
  • Provide training and technical guidance to junior and newly hired team members
     

What We Are Looking For:

  • Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or biology, or a related field; OR Master's Degree; OR Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience developing and implementing analytical methods for drug metabolite analysis
  • Hands-on expertise with metabolite profiling, mass spectrometry (MS), and MS/MS data collection and interpretation
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
     

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:

  • Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, written, and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain accurate experimental records, work effectively in a team environment, and follow safe laboratory practices

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $64,200.00 - $133,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
