PURPOSE OF POSITION
- The Senior Researcher will be responsible for conducting research on customer challenges, creating advanced technology/solutions, and developing business models related to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
- The role contributes to the strategic, financial, and operational business objectives of the company by advancing CCS technologies and solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct research activities and develop advanced technology/solutions for carbon capture and storage, including assessment, modelling, and prediction.
- Create service designs and business models.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) to demonstrate solution value with real-world applications.
- Engage with customers, conduct requirement studies, and prepare solution proposals.
- Create proposal documents, presentation materials, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with global research teams and various parties to develop and deliver solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational & Professional Qualification
- Master’s Degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Geological Analytics, or Environmental Science.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in carbon capture and storage, such as assessment, modelling, and prediction.
- Experience in service design and customer-facing activities.
Knowledge/Skills/Other Abilities
- Good hands-on capability in Geological Analysis, Digital MRV, and Blockchain.
- Knowledge of Carbon Capture and Storage.
- Design Thinking.
- Good communication skills.
