About the role

We are seeking a Senior QC engineer with strong hands-on experience in Test Automation. Your role will involve contributing to the automation of our testing processes and ensuring the seamless operation of our platform. You will play a key part in expanding and nurturing the test-automation team, constructing reliable test frameworks, validating software releases, and guaranteeing a seamless user experience by minimizing bugs. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Development Teams to identify and resolve issues that arise.

Core Duties - List of responsibilities

Drive decisions on test automation strategies.
Implement Quality Assurance best practices for test definition, requirements tracking, and test automation.
Create test automation frameworks, write test code, and conduct code reviews for automation engineers.
Provide detailed bug reports to the Engineering Team using JIRA.
Collaborate with development teams to review software specifications and controls.
Conduct functional analysis of the software by using it as intended.
Develop both manual and automated test procedures to assess each software product.
Construct, code, and deploy software evaluation test programs.
Execute test programs to verify that testing protocols accurately assess the software.
Optimize the performance of software testing systems.
Conduct final tests and generate comprehensive test reports.

About you - Essential skills and requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in QA/QC and Software Testing.
Proficiency in manual and automated testing procedures.
Strong coding skills for building and implementing test programs.
Knowledge of software testing protocols and controls.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.
