• Be responsible for and review work of staff
• Prepare schedules to support balance sheet accounts in conjunction with PM’s: Unbilled AR, Prepaids, Accrued expenses , Fixed assets including depreciation and amortization schedules
• Prepare necessary journal entries for review by controller
• Assist with preparation of monthly reporting packages for distribution to partners and clients
• Understand variance analysis for assigned properties and work with PM’s to properly explain in monthly reports
• Assist with annual budgets in coordination with PM’s and upload into MRI
• Review accruals and P&L variance explanations prepared by PM’s
• Compile monthly reports for distribution to partners and clients
• Assist PM’s with CAM reconciliations
• Review and approve new vendors to be set up in MRI
• Coordinate with PM’s, AM, and leasing to prepare the monthly cash requirements analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA a plus, working towards CPA required
• Experience with MRI a plus
• Experience with R/E industry, specifically office buildings and development a plus
• Understanding of GAAP and income tax basis financial reporting
• Deep understanding of Excel
• Able to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work effectively in a team an independently
70-80 plus bonus
