Senior Product Specialist- Biacore

The < Senior Product Specialist- Biacore > for Cytiva is responsible for <providing technical-scientific support to the commercial team, training and trouble-shooting to the users and strategically collaborating to drive demand generation and market share growth>

This position is part of the < D&M modality team> located in <Guangzhou>. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Achieve Product/Solutions/Service orders and sales target for assigned accounts or territory
• Support pre-sales related work for products, including product introductions, application seminars, competitive exchanges, DEMO experiments and others
• Support product after-sales training and daily trouble-shooting to the users
• Conduct product training for sales teams and dealers
• Collaborate with researchers to drive new applications based on Biacore
• Continuously study the research of customers, extract product value and convey it to target customers
• Understand industry trends, learn about competitors, and propose competitive strategies

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Master’s Degree of Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Immunology, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of technical support, drug discovery or academic research experiences
• Proficient in molecular interaction technologies or products, such as SPR, BLI, ITC or MST
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English
• The ability to quickly learn about various research fields, markets, and products
• Solid experimental skills and good commercial sense
• Able to travel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with market analysis, product management and strategic planning.
