About the Job

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Google is launching a new cross-product initiative enabling users to integrate trusted sources directly into their Google AI experience.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to help scale our sources, surfaces, and systems, bringing an improved AI experience to more users. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of product strategy, technical implementation, and project execution to ensure successful integration across Gemini Notebook, Gemini, AI Mode, and Deep Research. You will require a strong product strategy and sense, process orientation and technical depth to drive the architecture of our core engineering systems.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Translate complex machine learning and LLM patterns—such as citation integrity, grounding, and agentic applications—into scalable technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with Partnerships, Legal, Marketing, and Engineering to address partner data protection, intellectual property, and analytics requirements within the system architecture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical engineering experience.
  • Experience leading complex, highly technical product management initiatives.
  • Experience working with AI/ML systems or large language models, including technical aspects like data pipelines, grounding, and citation structures.
  • Experience with media, content and rights management.
  • Strong process-design mindset, with the ability to formalize and scale project workflows across large engineering organizations.
  • Demonstrated technical capability to actively participate in and contribute to the implementation and architecture of engineering systems.
