Job description

Do you spend as much time in Claude Code as in Figma?

At Pandektes, we're building the largest AI-powered legal database that 350+ legal teams across Europe rely on every day - and we're looking for a Senior Product Designer who's as excited about that mission as we are. AI isn't just what we build. It's how we build. We'd love to find someone who works the same way.

About the role

Legal research hasn’t changed much in decades. Lawyers still spend countless hours navigating fragmented sources, outdated systems, and complex databases just to find the information they need.

At Pandektes, we’re changing that.

Our ambition is to build the leading global platform for legal research and the largest AI-powered legal database. By combining artificial intelligence, intelligent search, and continuously updated legal sources, we’re redefining how legal knowledge is accessed, understood, analyzed, and applied.

Pandektes has raised more than €4 million and most recently closed a €2.9 million seed round (Feb 2025) led by People Ventures, Interface Capital, and leading angels. Pandektes already serves more than 350 customers across Denmark, Germany and Switzerland.

We’re still early in the journey, and joining our team now means you’ll have big impact on shaping how we scale.

What you'll do

  • Design product end-to-end, from feature concept to the last micro-interaction - like rendering 60-page judgments so a lawyer can scan, cite, and trust them in 90 seconds

  • Prototype with AI tools: Claude Code, v0, Cursor, whatever moves you forward fastest - instead of static mockups

  • Own and evolve a design system that holds up across deep-information UIs, AI flows, and editorial-style content

  • Shape AI search and chat that surfaces the right precedent and makes lawyers trust it

  • Talk to lawyers regularly, watch how they actually work, and read product data to spot what users aren't telling you

  • Decide what not to build - and defend that call.

What you bring

  • A portfolio of shipped product work, including AI products. You've designed for LLM-driven flows and know where the patterns are still being invented

  • A systems-first mindset. You design the system, then apply it; not the other way around.

  • AI deeply embedded in your workflow. Claude Code is a daily tool, not a curiosity

  • Curiosity about users. You'd rather talk to five lawyers than guess at what they need, and you can read product data and feedback to find what nobody's told you yet

  • Ruthless prioritization. You know "everything is important" means nothing is

  • A strong point of view. You can defend your work and update it when the pushback is right.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for legal, compliance, or other dense professional domains

  • Hands-on experience working alongside ML/data teams

  • Open-source work or side projects that show how you think.

How we work

We place great value on a vibrant, inspiring, and challenging company culture. This is achieved through a talented and passionate team that believes in achieving great things together.

We value ownership – you can expect a lot of freedom and responsibility. The key is open communication, trust, and a shared passion to transform the legal world.

We are a growing team based in our Copenhagen HQ and remotely from Germany, Switzerland, Austria and London. This role will be based in our Copenhagen HQ.

We believe diverse teams build better products and stronger teams. We embrace and encourage people from all backgrounds to apply regardless of race/ethnicity, colour, religion, nationality, gender, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, socio-economic status, culture or beliefs.

What we offer

  • A central role in a fast-growing company with €4M+ raised, most recently a €2.9M seed led by People Ventures and Interface Capital

  • A collaborative work environment where your input is not only valued but often implemented within hours

  • 25 vacation days per year + public holidays

  • International team events – last time we went to Barcelona, and we’d love to have you join us next time

  • An attractive warrant program

  • Your own Pleo card for necessary work expenses

  • Paid parental leave
