The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to lead our procurement team and drive strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee complex logistics services, develop innovative procurement strategies, and mentor junior team members. This role will support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida, and is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES2) contract. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement policies and procedures for the organization. 

  • Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and manage relationships with key suppliers. 

  • Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance and efficiency across all processes. 

  • Conduct advanced market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for cost savings. 

  • Manage and mentor a team of procurement specialists, fostering their professional development. 

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align procurement strategies with organizational goals. 

  • Lead complex program analysis and reporting, implementing cost control measures across multiple programs. 

  • Develop and present innovative solutions to complex procurement challenges. 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-level stakeholders and clients on procurement matters. 


Qualifications:
Required: 

  • US citizen with active Secret security clearance 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study

  • 7+ years of experience in procurement and logistics management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

  • Expert knowledge of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing, and contract law

  • Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and process improvements

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience with enterprise-level procurement systems and technologies

  • Experience in government or defense sector procurement

  • Familiarity with vehicle operations and IT equipment logistics


Desired:

  • Master's Degree in relevant field of study

  • Experience in government or defense sector procurement

  • Familiarity with vehicle operations and IT equipment logistics

  • Certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP)

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
