You will be part of a high skilled and dynamic team, having daily contact with high tech machinery.

As a Process Development Engineer for Soldering Technology you will provide high level technical support for production processes of high power semiconductors, contributing to the achievement of established KPIs. You will be part of a high skilled team, working in close contact with other Infineon’s locations as well as suppliers.

In your new role you will:
  • Provide high-level technical support for production processes of high-power semiconductors to meet KPIs (Yield, Cpk, Volume, MTBF).
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process parameter sheets, and charts to ensure process stability and efficiency.
  • Ensure process stability in own technological field(s) to maintain high-quality production.
  • Optimize production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality, while maintaining high OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
  • Introduce and implement minor changes or innovations using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Prepare technical specifications for new machines and tools and evaluate offers from potential suppliers, evaluate their offers and make proposals for decision-making process.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support on the preparation of technical specifications for new, non-standard equipment, machines based on the internal customer needs, to collate technical data and parameters with the potential suppliers, evaluate their offers and make proposals for the decision-making process.


You are a proactive, goal oriented person that remains focused on quality, even when under pressure. You have an autonomous and methodic working style and strong problem solving skills. Moreover, you communicate clearly and efficiently, being able to cooperate and establish positive relationships.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of working experience in manufacturing environments
  • Strong analytic work methodology and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in SMT soldering processes, camera systems are advantages.
  • Experienced in quality techniques (pareto, 8D, FMEA, 5W, 5S, lean) PLC, pneumatic systems, robot solution experience is advantages
  • Hungarian: native level, English: intermediate
