Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Mastery of Principal level duties and responsibilities
  • Independently orchestrates the strategic direction and priorities for applications (or a set of functionalities within an application).
  • Owns a Product portfolio, roadmap, innovation index, and all phases of product management with a keen understanding of target markets. Works in partnership with peers and Product Development.
  • Owns the creation of a multi-year (& possibly global) product road map.
  • Prioritizes product enhancements and customer requests by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data driven analysis and sound judgment.
  • Responsible for evaluating and updating pricing models based on customer value (ROI) analysis for modules.
  • Runs Cross-Functional Team meetings independently.
  • Runs Customer Advisory meetings.
  • Responsible for analysis of financial reporting with assign product portfolio (profitability, margins, pricing).
  • Represents Epicor as an evangelist at customer events (internal or external).
  • Keeps up with external trends to incorporate into products and processes.
  • Some travel is expected in support of sales efforts.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Expert knowledge in product management.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP software.
  • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen and strategic business capabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and software development lifecycle preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • 5+ years of specialized/industry experience/
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Master’s degree preferred.
