Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience in designing and manufacturing advanced microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for aerospace, defense, and communications. Our products support critical missions across global markets, including aviation, radar, Satcom, space, and electronic warfare. If you’re passionate about cutting-edge design and want to work for a trusted leader in high-tech solutions, this role is for you.

What you’ll do

  • Design, simulate, layout, and validate advanced GaN and GaAs MMIC products for high-power amplifiers and RF/microwave subsystems

  • Use industry-standard tools (ADS, AWR, HFSS, Sonnet, AXIEM) for linear, nonlinear, and EM analysis
  • Support lab validation including S-parameters, output power, efficiency, noise figure, and linearity measurements
  • Mentor junior designers and provide technical leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development cycle
  • Assist in proposals, system architecture studies, and R&D planning
  • Document design activities and ensure compliance with company and industry standards

What you need

  • BSEE with 18+ years or MSEE with 15+ years in RF/MMIC design (required)
  • Proven track record of MMIC product releases for high-frequency/high-power applications (X-, K-, Ka-band preferred)
  • Expertise in nonlinear simulation, load-pull analysis, and stability techniques
  • Strong knowledge of GaAs pHEMT and GaN-on-SiC HEMT technologies
  • Familiarity with advanced RF packaging and hybrid module design
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance (required)

What we offer

  • Competitive pay and comprehensive health benefits
  • 401(k) with company match and retirement plans
