Senior Platform Software Engineer

• Partificipate the platform software development including but not limited to image processing, software SDK, AI, Embedded SW etc to fulfill product requirement.
• Design, develop, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency C++ systems for real-time processing.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for long-term platform evolution.
• Perform design review and code review for sub-components.
• Fully participate in the product lifecycle for Leica market-leading microscopy products to offer competitive product value to our customers.
• Work with cross-functional team to ensure product development meets the requirement for quality, cost, regulation, service, and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with global teams to drive synergies across common software platforms.
• There will be opportunities for the incumbent to be attached with Leica overseas R&D center in Germany for joint software development initiatives.
