Job Summary
The Senior Planner performs all standard planning responsibilities and may also be assigned additional ancillary duties. These duties may include multidisciplinary planning assignments and/or serving as the Lead Planner, as designated by the Department Manager.Job Description
•Demonstrates the ability to plan multi-discipline work orders
•Mentor and assist other planners with performance of their job functions and provide oversight of qualifications and development needs.
•Coordinate and administer programs outside of the planning function
•SME within a specific discipline
•ERO or other emergency duties
•Backlog reviews to ensure work orders are planned to support
•Work night shift to support plant (Outages, Emergent Issues, etc)
Education and Experience:
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•10+ years of nuclear power plant planning experience in mechanical, electrical, or I&C maintenance disciplines
•Solid understanding of work control process & procedures, safety procedures, auxiliary equipment, fuel handling equipment, clearance procedures, and experience in computer maintenance management systems.
•Team work and collaboration skills within the team/department
•Maintain effective working relationships within the team/department
•Problem solving techniques to address issues
