What does a work environment look like at Vouch?
Vouch has employees located across the U.S., with offices in San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City. This role is hybrid and can be aligned to any of our offices. While this role has hybrid work flexibility, we require team members to be in the office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) to foster close collaboration and team building.


What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Place all lines of business (Cyber, Professional Liability,Management Liability, GL, etc.) for clients
  • Support Sales and Client Managers by analyzing client needs and exposures to develop placement strategies that align with their risk profile
  • Draft and submit submissions to underwriters and negotiate terms and pricing on behalf of clients
  • Review quotes, binders, and policies for accuracy and completeness
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters
  • Stay current on market trends, carrier appetite, and coverage developments within the relevant product lines
  • Collaborate with sales advisors and client service teams to ensure seamless handoff and servicing of accounts
  • Provide guidance to clients on coverage options and risk management strategies

About You:

  • 3-5 years of insurance industry experience, preferably in a brokerage or underwriting environment
  • Demonstrated experience placing or supporting the placement of Cyber Liability, Professional Liability, Management Liability, and P&C (GL, BOP, etc.) policies
  • Strong knowledge of insurance markets and carrier appetites
  • Known for delivering high-quality results under pressure and balancing client advocacy with carrier realities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex coverage concepts clearly
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with insurance brokerage management systems and Google Suite
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license

Compensation philosophy:
The base salary for this role varies by location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a variable annual bonus.

  • San Francisco & New York: $115,000 to $135,000 + eligible for 20% variable annual bonus
  • Chicago: $103,000 to $121,000 + eligible for 20% variable annual bonus

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are part of our total compensation package, which also includes benefits and other perks. We also include stock options in all compensation packages and believe all Vouch employees should have the opportunity to become owners in the company. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, location, and business need. The pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
