The Role
We’re looking for a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and employee benefits across Bureau Veritas UK&I.
You’ll work closely with HR, payroll and benefits providers to ensure data accuracy, resolve queries and deliver a high-quality employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and validate payroll data, ensuring all employee changes are accurate and submitted on time
- Support monthly payroll processing, reconciliations and year-end activities (e.g. P60s)
- Act as a key contact for payroll queries, resolving issues efficiently
- Administer employee benefits (pensions, PMI, life assurance, EV scheme, etc.)
- Process benefit joiners, leavers and changes, and liaise with providers
- Maintain accurate HR, payroll and benefits data across systems
- Produce reports and carry out regular data checks
- Support process improvements and HR/payroll projects
About You
- Experience in payroll, HR or benefits administration
- Good understanding of payroll processes and UK compliance requirements
- Strong Excel and systems skills (HR/payroll systems)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential data
Desirable:
- Experience with outsourced payroll providers and benefits schemes
- Knowledge of pensions, auto-enrolment and salary sacrifice
- Familiarity with systems such as SuccessFactors or SD Worx
- CIPD (or working towards)
