Senior Oracle APEX Developer

Application Development: 

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications with a focus on performance and scalability.

Programming Expertise: 

• Utilize SQL, PL/SQL, and JavaScript to build robust and efficient application logic.

Theme Customization: 

• Customize and enhance Oracle APEX Universal Themes to align with user and business requirements.

JavaScript Toolkit Integration:

• Leverage the JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) to create dynamic and visually appealing user interfaces.

Integration:

• Build and integrate APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems.

System Maintenance: 

• Ensure the applications are secure, reliable, and optimized for high performance.

Troubleshooting: 

• Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.

Documentation: 

• Maintain thorough documentation for applications, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

Education:

•  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience: 

• 8–10 years of experience in Oracle technologies, including Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and low-code development.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for backend programming.
• Expertise in JavaScript and Oracle JET for front-end functionality.
• Proven ability to customize Oracle APEX Universal Themes.
• Strong understanding of APEX-specific features and best practices.

Problem Solving: 

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Team Collaboration:

•  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Certification: 

• Professional certification in Oracle technologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with API integration using ORDS.
• Familiarity with modern reporting tools like Jasper Reports.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices.
• Understanding of cloud-based Oracle APEX deployment.
