The Opportunity  

This position is responsible to provide technical excellence in providing Asset Reliability and Integrity services to customers in Mackay, in accordance with company and branch quality, health, safety and environment plans as well as site specific expectations, with the ability to manage specific sites or projects as required.

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Deliver high‑quality inspection services using Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonic, Radiographic and other Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques
  • Operate across major industrial environments, including mining, oil & gas, and large‑scale project sites
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a positive and professional service experience
  • Work independently with confidence, demonstrating strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
  • Maintain a strong commitment to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements.
  • Use strong attention to detail and solid organisational skills to ensure accurate, dependable results

 

About You  

Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:

  • AINDT / PCN / ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in UT (Welds) is required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience conducting Non-Destructive testing on fixed or mobile plant in either oil & gas or mining industries.
  • Underground Coal Mining experience highly regarded
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding and commitment to HSE
  • Advanced attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Unrestricted Australian work rights
