This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Medical Imaging Technologist with Cath Lab experience to work in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment that values innovation, teamwork, and excellence in patient care.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality radiographic imaging and specialised support across the Angiography and Endoscopy Suites, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety, clinical governance, and hospital protocols. Working alongside leading cardiologists, nurses, and allied health professionals, you will play a key role in complex diagnostic and interventional procedures, making a meaningful impact on patients' lives every day.

The Position
Program and operate radiographic and associated fixed and mobile equipment to provide optimal diagnostic and interventional imaging, in accordance with the requirements of each consultant.
Evaluate and recommend new techniques and procedures in collaboration with Senior suite caregivers and clinicians.
Participate in the roster and on-call system to ensure continuous cover to the department.
Supervise the activities of caregivers, with regards to radiographic practice ensuring compliance with requirements of Work, Health & Safety, Radiation Safety and other legislation relevant to Medical Imaging, as directed by Coordinator Medical Imaging Technologist.
Safely archive and be able to efficiently retrieve all relevant patient data in accordance with Hospital and Department of Health policy.
Operate radiological equipment and carries out procedures in a cost efficient manner.
Keep and maintain relevant patient records in relation to procedural data.
Working within a multidisciplinary team you will have highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with advanced written and verbal communication. You will hold working knowledge of computer information technology and Work, Health & Safety Legislation.
To succeed you will have registration with Radiological Council WA, Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Imaging) or equivalent with significant experience within the Angiography Suite setting. Previous Cath lab experience will be essential for the role. Experience within a hospital setting will be highly regarded.

Salary: $130,914 to $139,591 plus 12% superannuation
Permanent part-time position working 9 hours per week
