Job description

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a Senior Manager - Wet Utilities (Planning) to join our dynamic team and lead the planning and development of wet utility infrastructure projects. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring the strategic design and implementation of wet utility systems, including water supply, sewage, and stormwater management, integral to the sustainable development of Qiddiya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive planning strategies for wet utilities projects that align with Qiddiya’s vision and sustainability goals.
  • Lead feasibility studies, risk assessments, and environmental impact analyses for proposed wet utility projects.
  • Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and regulatory teams to ensure project compliance with local and national standards.
  • Oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of wet utility infrastructure, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including governmental entities, community groups, and consultants, to facilitate collaboration and gather input on project planning.
  • Monitor project progress, address challenges, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Foster innovation and best practices in wet utilities planning and management across all projects.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and new technologies related to wet utilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in wet utilities planning and management, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Solid understanding of wet utility infrastructure design, regulatory requirements, and environmental considerations.
  • Strong project management skills with proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address project challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with planning and modeling software related to wet utilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
