WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING HERE

  • A supportive, dynamic, and innovative team culture.
  • Opportunities to attend industry events and showcase your skills.
  • A chance to directly shape the voice and vision of one of the industry’s fastest-growing firms.

About the Role

As a Senior Manager, Structural Engineering, you’ll lead and coordinate the workloads of larger design teams across a portfolio of renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, HV). You’ll be accountable for adherence to technical standards, design quality, and on-time delivery, while developing the team and supporting clients and business growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Oversee structural analysis and design for foundations (driven piles, screw and helical piles, and cast-in-place concrete), overhead steel structures, building envelopes, and non-building structures across a portfolio of projects.
  • Ensure consistent application of codes and standards — ASCE 7, IBC, NESC, ASCE 113, IEEE 693, and NFPA — across the team’s work.
  • Drive team-wide adherence to applicable Client, EPC, Owner, and Utility standards.
  • Oversee coordination of specifications and contract requirements with project managers and client representatives from early design through construction across the team’s projects, with a focus on constructability.
  • Coordinate the workloads of larger design teams and ensure consistent adherence to technical standards across projects.
  • Ensure designers and the civil design team are coordinated on drawings, details, and foundation bills of material (BOMs) across large project areas.
  • Promote effective use of engineering software (Excel, RISA, LPILE, and Trimble products) and design automation (VBA and Python) across the team.
  • Develop and mentor staff, manage performance, and uphold quality and technical standards across the team.
  • Support business development, resourcing, and proposals for the structural subdiscipline.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 12+ years of structural engineering experience, including team or project leadership. Professional Engineer (PE) required; SE preferred.
  • Expert command of structural analysis and design and the applicable codes and standards.
  • Experience coordinating larger design teams’ workloads and ensuring adherence to technical standards across projects.
  • Proficiency with structural and foundation software (RISA, LPILE), Trimble products, Excel, and design automation (VBA/Python).
  • Strong leadership, people-management, and communication skills.
