A Day in the Life:

JOB SUMMARY

  • Own the RTW business for the Greater China retail channel.
  • Drive assortment excellence with a strong styling sense to enhance brand desirability and premium perception.
  • Lead end‑to‑end merchandising across buying, pricing, allocation, and product lifecycle management.
  • Deliver sales, margin, and inventory targets while protecting brand equity.
  • Partner closely with cross‑functional teams to execute compelling RTW product stories and total look styling opportunities.
  • Strengthen retail product training by translating seasonal product direction into clear selling messages for stores.
  • Translate local market insights into product and business opportunities aligned with global strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own sales, margin, and inventory performance for RTW.
  • Lead seasonal buying and lifecycle management across buy, reorder, pricing, markdown, and exit strategy.
  • Shape locally relevant RTW assortments aligned with global strategy, brand positioning, and Greater China market needs.
  • Drive product insights and development proposals with NY merchandising teams, bringing strong understanding of RTW trends, fit, fabrication, and styling relevance.
  • Manage allocation, stock rebalancing, and cross‑channel movement.
  • Partner closely with Retail, VM, Marketing, Training, and Planning to deliver strong full‑price performance and consistent total look execution.
  • Develop clear retail product training content, including seasonal key messages, styling tips, product focus, and selling angles to support store teams.
  • Promote a total look mindset by connecting RTW with footwear, bags, and accessories to elevate styling impact and client engagement.
  • Identify business opportunities, risks, and new initiatives based on trends and market dynamics.
  • Support retail execution through launch plans, product tools, styling guidance, and ongoing store communication.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years’ experience in luxury fashion merchandising, with strong RTW experience preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen with balanced creative, styling, and analytical mindset.
  • Good sense of styling with the ability to build total look recommendations across categories.
  • Strong retail product training capability, able to translate product knowledge into simple and inspiring selling messages for store teams.
  • Proven ability to work across global, regional, and local teams across Greater China markets.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
  • Strong presentation, influence, and leadership capabilities.
