Apply to this jobWe are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Legal Counsel (GM).
In this role you will:
- Advisory and transactional work relating to Macro and GCF business in the OTC, structured products, SFTs (Repo and sec lending) space
- Advising on regulatory change matters impacting coverage areas
- Assisting with and advising on key digital asset initiatives in region/ globally and Advising on new business and digital initiatives
- Providing advice to senior management in Markets and Securities Services Asia Pacific across businesses and functions on issues impacting coverage area
- Providing regional support to local legal colleagues in the Asia Pacific region
- Liaising with global legal colleagues on various global projects and products including digital assets topics and on global template documentation
- Involvement in industry WGs in ISDA, EMTA and etc
To be successful you will need:
- Deep experience in markets products documentation, regulatory and market issues
- Awareness of regulatory issues impacting markets products and documentation
- Experience in law firms and in house teams covering similar work
