Senior KYC Compliance Product Manager - Global Payment

Team Introduction
In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide.

This role will be based onsite at our office and will require a 5-day onsite work arrangement.

Responsibilities
1. Design Global Payment compliance KYC system, building platform capabilities such as customer information collections and verification decision-making platform, in order to meet anti-money laundering (AML) and regulatory requirements, and minimize false-acceptance cases.
2. Design automated KYC review product flows catering to various complicated business scenarios, such as e-wallets and digital lending, to reduce user onboarding frictions and minimize false-rejection cases.
3. Responsible for the Global Payment compliance system industry research, using ByteDance advanced mid-platform products or technologies, leading Global Payment in international compliance system innovation, designing product solutions according to long-term goals and roadmap.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above;
- More than 5 years of relevant work experience in AML compliance products and/or customer onboarding KYC/KYB solutions;
- Have a deep understanding in AML and Sanction policies and control procedures;
- Conduct product research and industry analyses, monitor core business and compliance risk metrics, and lead product roadmap planning;
- Strong communication skills, and able to lead deep-dive discussions with compliance officers, business owners, engineers, operations staff members, and auditors to facilitate effective cross-functional collaborations;
- Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to accept challenges, and always work with passion and have a sense of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications
- Have a deep understanding of KYC process in e-commerce, lending, and/or live streaming business scenarios;
- Experience in adopting third party eKYC vendors, or building proprietary eKYC products.
