Senior IT Security Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior IT Security Engineer to join our enterprise security team. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with advanced security technologies, help shape our security posture, and mentor others on the team. What You’ll Do

• Build, configure, and maintain security solutions across endpoint, network, application, and cloud environments

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues

• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across the team

• Monitor evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques — and translate them into actionable defenses

• Communicate security risks, controls, and processes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Partner with IT and business teams to ensure security is embedded in everything we do

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive cybersecurity engineering experience

• Strong experience with IT security platforms, automation (scripting/APIs), and configuration management

• Broad knowledge of IT systems (servers, networks, cloud, applications)

• Experience with authentication, access management, logging, and SIEM/event correlation tools

• Excellent communication skills — you can explain security concepts to anyone

• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills

• Awareness of the evolving cybersecurity landscape

Education & Certifications (Preferred, not required):

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, MIS, IT, or related field

• Security+, CISSP, GIAC, or advanced SANS certifications
