Job description

As a Senior HR Director, you will lead a team of HR professionals to provide HR services to small and medium hospitality businesses. You will be responsible for initiating, building and sustaining client relationships, architecting and delivering leading HR solutions, identifying new business opportunities, supporting the development of our team, and contributing to the strategic growth of our firm.

Prior experience in a consultative role, leading teams, liaising with senior-level executives, and managing projects is essential for this role, in addition to a strong understanding of general HR principles, strategies and tactics. You must also bring tireless curiosity, exceptional attention to detail and unblemished professional ethics and integrity.

    Responsibilities

    • Steering client strategy and action plans in collaboration with HR project teams
    • Attending client meetings to answer questions, provide insights and updates, and discuss opportunities
    • Advising clients on employee relations, compliance, management and strategic matters
    • Providing regular client status reports; proactively escalating potential concerns/issues
    • Serving as primary resource for all sensitive HR issues that require escalation
    • Mentoring and coaching HR team members to exceed client expectations
    • Providing structure, accountability, and oversight to ensure consistently excellent project execution
    • Spearheading team efforts to develop and refine HR methodologies and tools
    • Identifying evolving client people needs and developing strategic solutions to enhance E|H’s impact
    • Fostering an action-oriented mentality focused on continuous improvement
    • Deepening the team’s expertise by sharing updates, teaching, quizzing, developing tools, and harnessing outside resources and subject matter experts
    • Providing input on overall company risk management protocols
    • Nurturing new and existing relationships to expand our network, strengthen our brand, and identify prospective clients
    • Leading high-impact internal initiatives such as knowledge management, learning & development, etc.Recommending programs, processes, and benefits to help the E|H team thrive

      Experience & Education

      • 10+ years’ experience in human resources (recruiting, training, benefits, etc.)
      • 10+ years’ experience building, leading and developing high-functioning teams
      • 5+ years’ experience in hospitality (management or HR position)
      • Exceptional MS office skills, business and financial acumen, and problem-solving skills
      • Bachelor’s in human resources, business administration, or related field
      • Master’s degree preferred
      • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PMP, or related certification preferred

      • Compensation: $150-190k + incentive compensation
      • Vacation: 20 days PTO + 12 company holidays
