Senior Google Cloud Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Data Architect to join our team and support exciting international projects. This role combines hands-on architecture with solution design and pre-sales activities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients while designing modern cloud data platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape technical solutions, support new business opportunities, and guide customers through their cloud transformation journey. What You'll Be Doing

• Design end-to-end data and analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Support pre-sales activities, technical solutioning, and proposal development
• Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture discussions
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud data platforms
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and technical teams during new business opportunities
• Define solution architecture, estimations, and implementation approaches
• Advise clients on data modernization, analytics, AI, and cloud transformation initiatives
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies throughout the solutioning process
• Support project transition from pre-sales into delivery

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Cloud Data Solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Excellent understanding of modern data platform architectures
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within international teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Looker
• Experience designing modern data platforms, including data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, data migration, and real-time/batch processing solutions
• Understanding of data governance, security, and cloud optimization principles
• Experience with AI/ML or GenAI solutions on GCP is a plus
• Knowledge of Google Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect certifications is an advantage
• Previous experience in consulting, managed services, enterprise cloud transformations, or technical pre-sales is highly valued
