We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic and expanding team. In this role, you will be part of a larger engineering team working on highly integrated applications in a fast-paced environment. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Design and Product, to design and develop complex, distributed, high-quality solutions with tight deadlines. You must demonstrate a decisive leadership mindset, as approximately 30% of this role is dedicated to managing and directing teams of contractors to ensure project success and delivery excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrate deep hands-on expertise in Java, or Node.js, and frontend Javascript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.
Solid proficiency in using SQL or NoSQL Databases.
Strong experience in designing and developing microservices and APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL).
Extensive experience utilizing Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure or GCP), and CloudServices (e.g, functions/lambdas)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of containerization concepts like Kubernetes, Docker and others.
Experience with DevOps process automation using Terraform, Pulumi, or alternatives.
Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins) and testing frameworks (e.g.JUnit). Experience working with distributed, global teams.
Experience working with observability and monitoring systems such as Dynatrace orDataDog. Experience working in highly integrated systems.
Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work andsolve problems independently.
