📌 About the Role

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our Enterprise Scale team, which owns the stability of Scribe's core functionality across a wide range of technologies. You'll bring curiosity and cross-functional collaboration to a team that works closely with fellow engineers and user advocates to shape the overall platform experience.

🛠️ What You'll Do

• Own the stability and reliability of Scribe's core platform functionality

• Build and ship full stack features across our Django backend and NextJS frontend

• Collaborate with engineers and user advocates to improve the overall platform experience

• Write automated tests and advocate for testing practices across the team

• Work across the stack, from PostgreSQL and Redis to background processing with Celery

🔍 What We're Looking For

• You have 5+ years of engineering experience

• You're comfortable working with both Django and relational databases

• You're comfortable working with React (NextJS / TypeScript)

• You're a strong advocate for automated testing

• You've seen and can implement engineering best practices

✨ Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise features such as SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, RBAC, or audit logs

• You've built high-scale systems

• Experience with Celery for executing and scheduling background tasks

• Experience with AWS and Terraform

• Startup experience

📍 Location

Remote, with a requirement to be based permanently in the Eastern time zone.

💰 Compensation

Salary varies by location. All full-time employees receive equity in Scribe. Final offers depend on experience and scope.

Tier 1 (SF, NYC, Seattle): $170K – $230K • Offers Equity
Tier 2 (Boston, LA, CHI, D.C.): $153K – $207K • Offers Equity
Tier 3 (All others): $145K – $195K • Offers Equity
