Our fastest-growing customers are enterprises — health systems, IT services firms, regulated industries. They need identity, tenancy and audit to behave the way their security teams expect before they roll us out to thousands of seats. This role owns that.
What you'll do
Build enterprise identity end to end: SAML 2.0 / OIDC federation and SCIM provisioning against Entra ID, Okta and Google Workspace, wired into our organisation and seat model.
Own the tenancy layer — organisations, seats, roles, entitlements, shared credit pools — and make it self-serve for admins instead of a support ticket.
Build the audit and admin surfaces enterprise buyers ask for: access logs, session policy, de-provisioning that genuinely revokes.
Partner with our forward-deployed and customer-success engineers on real rollouts. Success is a deployment that never needs us in the loop.
What we're looking for
5+ years full-stack with real production exposure to authentication and authorisation — you have integrated an enterprise IdP and know why it is harder than the documentation suggests.
Fluency across the stack: TypeScript/React front end, Python back end, and cloud identity primitives (Cognito or equivalent) underneath.
Care for the unglamorous: migrations, edge cases, and the failure mode where a customer cannot log in on a Saturday.
Why now: enterprise SSO is our single biggest platform gap and the highest-leverage problem an engineer can close this quarter. You would own it from architecture through rollout.
Summary
Build enterprise identity, tenancy, audit features; own architecture and rollout.
