Senior Flavorist

International Flavors and Fragrances, Inc. seeks Senior Flavorist, Re-Imagine Wellness in Union Beach, NJ, to serve as a technical expert in flavor creation techniques and provide meaningful input into Wellness initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Technology, Biochemistry, or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: performing project management and commercialization of salt and umami molecules for food and beverage market; utilizing experience with modulation when tasting created flavors in applications; working as a savory flavorist developer; optimizing use and performance of umami tools; creating savory top notes; creating reaction flavors; creating EMC (Enzymatic cheese flavors). Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Employer will accept two (2) years of related work experience as meeting degree requirement. Offered salary is between $153,350 and $284,790 per year. 40 hours per week.
