Investments and Wealth Solutions
Hang Seng's Investments and Wealth Solutions offers a full spectrum of wealth products and services to our Retail Banking and Wealth (RBW) customers, from high-net-worth to mass segments across channels to capture opportunity under different market scenarios. We play a distributor role to source investment and insurance products from service providers, manage the product due diligence and onboarding, as well as client journey design and implementation. We distribute investment funds managed by top tier fund managers covering different types of funds, across regions and asset classes. A wide range of structured products with underlying linked to equities, FX rates, interest rates, investment funds, etc. are offered for investors to pursue different investment objectives. We also offer fixed income instruments and certificates of deposit to customers who look for regular coupon payment. Besides, we have securities services covering exchange traded equities in local and overseas markets offered through a wide variety of trading channels. Margin trading services covering FX and securities, and investment financing service provides extra liquidity and purchasing power to cater for investment needs from sophisticated investors.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Fixed Income & Debt Securities Manager, Capital Markets.
Principal Responsibilities
- Lead Fixed Income product franchise with end-to-end accountability on product strategy, governance, business performance and lifecycle management
- Progress the product agenda from ideation to due diligence, distribution, post-trade support and ongoing optimization for ensuring products can meet client needs, regulatory expectations, and bank’s risk appetite
- Execute Fixed Income product strategy aligned to business goals and segment appetites across retail, private and commercial banking
- Define target markets, product and platform development priorities
- Drive revenue growth and sustainable return while balancing risk and operation aspects
- Own product development and approval from concept to launch with considerations across client need, pricing, dealing, operation and distribution by collaborating with various internal stakeholders
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior and market players activities to identify opportunities for new product ideas or enhancements
- Drive digital initiatives to enhance distribution and product accessibility through online and mobile channels
Requirements
- University degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance or a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications or experiences
- Strong self-motivation
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset
- Good market sense
- Ability to work under pressure
- Out-going character with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua
- Passes in HKSI licensing examinations preferred
