Design and Development: Design and develop custom probe cards, probe tips, and other probing accessories for testing semiconductor wafers

Job DescriptionIn your new role you will:

• Design and Development: Design and develop custom probe cards, probe tips, and other probing accessories for testing semiconductor wafers
• Probe Tip Design: Evaluation various design of probe tips to ensure reliable and accurate contact with the wafer under test
• Probing Solution Development: Develop probing solutions for various wafer test applications, including parametric testing, functional testing, and reliability testing
• Test and Validation: Test and validate probing solutions to ensure they meet the required specifications and performance standards
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, test, and manufacturing, to ensure that the probing solutions meet the required specifications and performance standards
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot probing-related issues and develop solutions to improve probing efficiency and accuracy
• Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve the probing process to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve wafer yield
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of probing solutions, including design files, test data, and validation results
• Compliance: Ensure that all probing solutions comply with relevant industry standards, such as JEDEC or SEMI

Your Profile

• You are best equipped for this task if you have:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree: In a relevant field, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or materials science
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in wafer test probing or a related field
• Technical skills: Proficiency and experience with probing technologies, such as cantilever and vertical probing technology
• Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
• Communication skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
