Senior Engineer - Quality

The Senior Engineer - Supplier Quality is responsible for the overall Quality of the supplied parts from the vendor / sub supplier’s and ensure the incoming parts Quality standards. Working with the supplier directly, guidance and support them in Process Improvement activities, including effective use of Problem-Solving tools / techniques and statistical analysis. Continuously monitor and improve the process quality performance of the supplier’s, develop the quality assurance plans.

• Monitor supplier quality performance through incoming quality checks’
• Drive suppliers on 8D and continuous improvement.
• Regularly visit suppliers and address the process improvements.
• Collect & maintain supplier Quality metrics like Supplier PPM,
• Identify the process improvements opportunities within the supply chain.
• Working with the supplier to identify the process failings & drive improvements in Quality
• Conduct the supplier audit to ensure the supplier process, defect free parts delivered from the supplier.
• Support with the SDE team for developing the suppliers in order to get good Quality parts.
• Investigate the supplier parts Quality issues & present the findings, recommend the corrective actions, & implement the same at the supplier end.
• Communicate the team regarding the corrective action process & Quality tool and techniques.
• Maintain the supplier performance results & audit results.
