Senior Engineer Product Engineering

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role focuses on supporting product development, ramp-up, and mass production for semiconductor devices. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a passion for innovation, and the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams to ensure product success from concept to high-volume manufacturing.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Collaborate closely with Design, Test Engineering, Production, Applications, Validation, and Project Management throughout the entire product life cycle.
• Drive product development readiness, including part setup, hardware availability, qualification support, and test program readiness.
• Monitor and support yield performance across different technologies and product lines, aligned with business requirements.
• Analyze root causes of deviations in production targets (quality, performance, cost), coordinating with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
• Perform advanced data analysis, correlation, and investigations to support product performance and process improvement.
• Lead and support productivity improvement initiatives at manufacturing and test sites to enhance product margin and operational efficiency.
• Apply and implement innovation methodologies in product engineering processes.
• Organize and lead global cross-functional team meetings to ensure alignment and progress of product development activities.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, OR Master’s degree in Electronics, Microelectronics, VLSI, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound knowledge of IC manufacturing processes including wafer fabrication, assembly, testing, and qualification.
• Programming skills in Perl or Python for automation; additional programming languages are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and database handling using semiconductor-related data analysis tools.
