Apply to this jobWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer Industry 4.0 to drive the digitalization of our production processes and lead the rollout of new solutions. As a project manager, you will be responsible for the project scope, time, and budget, and will own a defined I4A pillar/track, defining site strategy and driving execution of the roadmap.
In your new role you will:
- Drive further digitalization rollouts, act as a project manager – lead the rollout of new solutions – responsible for the project scope, time and budget.
- Own defined I4A pillar/track, define site strategy, act as site responsible for the pillar/track, drive execution of the roadmap and harvesting of results
- Has in-depth knowledge in own I4.0 discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
- Using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes
- Act as communication interface with Cluster and I4.0 Community on defined pillar
- Resolving complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist
- Work independently
- Act as the major interface and support to AUT/UPE/UPD/TC/TE in terms of IT connectivity of EQ à digital support of engineering
- Define of future requirements in terms of EQ interface & workflow design (MES & EQ Integration)
- Have an interface function to FI/IT and BE I4.0 in terms of production-related IT
- Drive harvesting of production-related IT solutions, e.g. economical improvements, simplify workflow through digitalization
- Maintain stability of the released digital solution – participate in the root cause analysis of critical issues, develop and realize corrections to stabilize system
You are a motivated and results-driven individual with excellent communication and presentation skills. You are a collaborative team player with a strong IT mindset and a passion for digitalization. You can work independently and drive topics to successful outcomes.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience preferably in factory environment
- Preferably Project Management experience in the field of Factory Digitalization
- Business level English - daily level technical discussion with global stakeholders
- IT mindset and interest in digitalization
- Engineering degree - preferably in IT or Electrical field
- Ability to drive topics
- Good presentation skills - ability to represent the site on global platforms
