Senior Engineer I4.0 and Automation

As a Senior Engineer I4.0 and Automation, you will be responsible for managing the complete data integration process, from data acquisition to analytics, architecture, and governance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze problems, harmonize requirements, and provide innovative proposals that drive business value. Your expertise in designing architectures for systems and databases, developing scripts for ETL and analytics, and testing and fixing bugs will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Manage the complete data integration process, ensuring seamless data flow and insights
• Analyze complex problems, harmonize requirements, and provide innovative proposals
• Design architectures for systems and databases that meet business needs
• Develop scripts for ETL and analytics, ensuring scalability and performance
• Test and fix bugs, ensuring high-quality solutions
• Partner with sites to implement and monitor solutions, ensuring successful adoption
• Maintain and upgrade scripts and requirements, ensuring continuous improvement

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering, with a focus on Industry 4.0 and automation
• Experience in semiconductor back-end manufacturing, with a deep understanding of manufacturing work methods and interaction with high automation systems
• Proficiency in data acquisition tools such as S3, TCL, HUME, Filebeat, FTP/SFTP
• Experience with data transformation tools such as SQL, Python, ELK, and Kafka
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Knime, DataIKU, and Tableau
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, ORACLE, or Elasticsearch
• Experience with data governance tools such as Alation and Informatica
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the corporate hierarchy
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to visualize physical vs logical models
