Senior Engineer Development

Identify and develop new materials for product/ package in Development project and ensure the materials are designed to meet the project targets in term of cost, manufacturability and timeline.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Perform Process development activities (Process parameters scouting, optimization, verification and Process Freeze) in Development projects to meet the project targets in term of timeline, quality, cost competiveness and manufacturability.
• Responsible for technical handshake and knowledge transfer to Operation.
• Support prototype and development samples build.
• Generate and update relevant documents, eg Process Specification, PFMEA, DFMEA, OJTI, T32 (P), PDR, GIMM, MDR.
• Provide inputs for updating of related documents and is responsible for their correct contents, eg Process of Record, Assembly Design Rule, Process Roadmap, Failure catalogue, Control Plan, Maintenance checklist, etc for development projects.
• Liaise with suppliers for continuous improvement and perform verification and qualification activities for new tooling, machines and materials in Development projects.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or fresh graduated in Material.
• 3 years working experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Adequate hands-on knowledge and skills in assembly area with relavant industry know how.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good aptitude for collaboration, negotiation and solution finding.
• Statistical data analysis including design of experiment.
