Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Financial Reporting with strong technical accounting skills to join our finance team. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting, as well as managing various technical accounting functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the completion of SEC financial reports, including 10-Q’s and 10-K’s.
  • Coordinate Financial Statement Flux analysis and reporting.
  • Draft and manage footnote disclosures and checklists.
  • Ensure compliance and completion of lender reporting requirements.
  • Handle technical accounting matters such as leases, interest rate swaps, debt refinancing, share-based compensation, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and M&A.
  • Draft accounting memorandums and manage M&A OBS accounting.
  • Maintain Lease Accelerator, Workiva, and Shareworks systems.
  • Act as the Workiva administrator, leveraging experience with Workiva to streamline reporting processes.
  • Stay updated on new accounting pronouncements and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate and manage external accounting advisors on various topics, including goodwill impairment analysis, 409a valuations, and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Collaborate with various finance teams and serve as a business partner to evaluate how certain business processes will impact revenue and cost recognition.
  • Support external audit processes.

Job Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Extensive experience in SEC financial reporting.
  • Public accounting experience at a Big-4/10 firm.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with Workiva is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, particularly in explaining complex accounting issues
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

The Compensation range for this role is $220,000.00 to $250,000.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
