Senior Director Applications (m/f/d)

We are further strengthen our SAP organization and search a Senior Director Applications (m/f/d).

This is a strategic global leadership role with focus on the conceptional set-up of the SAP landscape worldwide. The role can be performed remotely across Europe while being willing to travel to our sites when needed.

Your tasks

• Defines and coordinates with relevant stakeholders from management the IT applications vision, goals, and strategies and communicates it in the entire Kardex organization to effectively align teams across functions and hierarchies. 
• Renews, expands and changes the IT applications landscape in accordance with the strategic directions of Remstar and the Kardex Group. 
• Oversees multiple application rollout processes, establishes priorities, and coordinates with teams to create schedules and road maps. Maintains an entrepreneurial perspective in all processes and develops budgets based on forecasts
• Identifies, manages, and mitigates risks in respect to IT applications landscape and the business goals 
• Exhibits a deep understanding of our users’ needs and reinforces a user-centric approach to its team members. 
• Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions 
• Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and to implement change and improvements 
• Encourages a culture that values and prioritizes research-backed and customer-focused data.
• Responsible for developing the appropriate organizational structure, resource plans and culture to support the business objectives and customer deliverables 

Your profile

• Successful IT formation background with an university degree in information technology or similar
• Extensive experience in leadership position in a global IT applications organisation 
• Proven track record of successful IT project rollout in regards to digitalization projects 
• Broad SAP professional background - ECC and HANA4 most relevant
• Experience in contract negotiation and managed services 
• Excellent communication skills on all hierarchy levels and stakeholder expectation management, while being fluent in English and having very good comand of German
