Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Digital Proposal Engineer with deep expertise in automation solutions in upstream oil & gas i.e. artificial lift methods (ESP, SRP, PCP, Gas Lift, etc.). The ideal candidate will lead the preparation of techno-commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications and delivering competitive, value-driven Digital Solution Proposal ( RTU, Instruments, Telecommunication, Cloud/OnPrem SCADA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Management:

    • Lead end-to-end proposal development for automation and artificial lift systems.

    • Analyze RFQs, prepare technical and commercial offers, and ensure timely submission.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Able to estimate engineering hours for solutions involving SCADA, PLC, RTU, and IIoT platforms.

    • Provide Digital Solution Proposal for digital oil field mainly articial lift methods i.e. ESP, PCP, SRP, GL etc.

  • Costing & Estimation:

    • Prepare detailed cost sheets, cashflow, resource allocation, and engineering effort estimates.

  • Client Engagement:

    • Collaborate with sales teams and clients to clarify technical requirements.

    • Participate in technical discussions and negotiations.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

    • Ensure proposals meet industry standards, client specifications, and internal quality processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in proposal engineering for oil & gas automation projects.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Good knowledge of Artificial Lift Systems (ESP, SRP, PCP, Gas Lift).

    • Expertise in SCADA, PLC, RTU, and IIoT solutions.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.

  • Communication Protocols i.e. Modbus TCP, MQTT and fundamental understanding of OT/IT Integration.
