Senior DevOps Engineer

Optimiza is looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this strategic role, you will take charge of building and enhancing our DevOps practices, streamlining processes across development and operations while ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve software release cycles and reduce manual efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation and improve deployment processes.
• Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues proactively.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards across development and operational environments.
• Document and maintain best practices for DevOps processes to enhance team productivity.
• Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in a DevOps or similar engineering role.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their service offerings.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Expertise in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of networking, monitoring tools, and system architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to teamwork.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions) are highly desirable.
