ITAccelerate is working with our client, a leader in senior care referral services, to help build their team of highly intelligent and capable engineers. We are looking for a Senior Database Developer, who will work with a team of engineers building and maintaining our customer’s web applications. Based in Cebu City, Philippines or San Jose, Costa Rica, this is a key role within our customer’s engineering team, requiring someone who will work alongside other software engineers in designing, developing and deploying new, quality solutions. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your client-side teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination.

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
• 5-7 years of database development experience
• Expert understanding of SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL., Linux, Unix, BSD.
• Understanding of AWS, Azure, or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Data Architect/Data Modeler
• Strong English communication skills – verbal and written testing required
• Client and ITAccelerate cultural integration required – we like to have fun but work hard!

Bonus Qualifications to Set You Apart

• Familiarity with .Net programming, HTML, CSS, and web programming 
• Knowledge of PHP and Perl. 
• Java experience
